The long and narrow layout of this apartment was particularly restricting and lacked space efficiency. The challenge to maximize the usable/ inhabited space was overcome by introducing the idea of a “functional corridor” that would connect the entrance to the living room and host the kitchen and storage areas. Since this apartment will be used as a short-term holiday rental, we wanted to make its design appealing and unique. For that reason, every room is decorated in a distinct vivid colour that adds playfulness to the apartment.
